As well as keeping busy in the clinic, Treena also works with NZ Steel in an Occupational Health Nurse role when required.
Treena’s medical career began with a Diploma for Comprehensive Nursing program, followed by a Bachelor of Health Science in Nursing. Then upon her return to NZ after working overseas, she completed her Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry.
Treena initially worked within Starship, Auckland and North Shore Hospital before she took her skills abroad to such places as the UK, Mainland Europe, and Australia.
Treena’s interest and focus in Podiatry lead her back to NZ to complete the career pathway change. Once completed, Treena headed back to Australia for several years to gain experience. This then created the opportunity to return to NZ to build her own clinic and client base. And as a result in 2007 Southern Podiatry was born.
